Very Berry Cobbler Recipe

I found this recipe on Pinterest a couple days ago and loved it!
This is the easiest cobbler I've ever made!

Ingredients:
1 box of white cake mix
2 bags of frozen mixed berries (12 oz bags)
about 15 oz of sprite (I just used two 7.5 oz cans)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
Dump both bags of frozen berries in dish and spread out.

Pour the cake mix over the berries and spread out.

Slowly pour the sprite over the cake mix so that it covers
the cake mix evenly. This is what makes the crust.

Bake for 45-50 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream!
Makes approximately 12 servings.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Recipe

Here's the recipe for one of my most favorite desserts!
Do yourself a favor - don't even try to figure out what
the fat/calorie count is...

Ingredients:
2 cans of crescent rolls
2 blocks of cream cheese
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup of cinnamon sugar
(FYI-to make your own cinnamon sugar, add
1 tablespoon of cinnamon to 1/2 a cup of sugar and mix)

Directions:
Using a 9x13 pan, unroll 1 package of crescent rolls and line
the bottom of the pan. Flatten.

Mix together the cream cheese, plain sugar and vanilla extract.
Spread the mixture over the crescent rolls.

Unroll the other can of crescent rolls and place on top
of the cream cheese mixture.

Pour the melted butter/margarine over the top of the crescent rolls.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Makes about 15 servings.

Thanks to my sister's mother-in-law, Cheryl, for the recipe!!!

Peacock Deco Mesh Wreath

A friend of mine asked me to make her a wreath
that would work in between holidays. And here's
what I came up with:

 Materials:
turquoise deco mesh (21" width)
wire wreath
floral wire
peacock plumes
wooden letter
paint and glitter paint
glue gun
fishing line

I attached the deco mesh to the wreath form using floral
wire.  I painted the wooden letter black, then added a layer
of gold glitter. It was a little too much gold, so I did another thin
layer of black paint over the gold, but enough gold still shows through
to shimmer in the light. The peacock feathers and the letter were
attached the deco mesh with hot glue. But the letter was still a
little bit floppy, so I attached it to the deco mesh in a couple
places with fishing line.

I love how it turned out! I may just have to make one for myself now :)
